An Ibadan High Court, yesterday, remanded a 35-year-old man, Segun Majeed, in prison over alleged rape.
The prosecutor, Mrs Olumide Ojo, told the court that the defendant allegedly raped a nine-year-old girl on May 29 2012, at the ArmyBarracksPrimary School, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
She told the court that she was yet to respond to the application filed by defence counsel, Mr. Olaniji Olabinjo.
Ojo said she had just been served, that the court should give her time to respond.
Justice Mashud Abas ordered that the defendant be taken back to prison and adjourned the case till tomorrow.
We will be waiting ooo for the verdict! It better be for good because we are tired of our ailing justice system. Young man please say hello to the mosquitos in the prison for me and do us a favor, try raping them!!!
